More about our Speakers: Leslie Williams has a 30-year history in banking, most recently with US Bank in Auburn as the Vice President of the SBA Division. She brings expertise to clients in access to capital, general business, financing, loan readiness, accounting, recordkeeping, and business plan development. Leslie specializes in general business consulting for small businesses looking to grow, as well as assisting entrepreneurs looking to start a new business with strategy and structure. In addition to consulting, Leslie works as the Associate Director for the Sierra SBDC, expanding awareness to potential clients all over the region.
Kathy Halbardier has over 25 years of experience in small business development as an entrepreneur as well as an advisor for those in all stages of business ownership. Her areas of expertise include business plan counseling, marketing, strategic planning, economic development, and business education and training. She successfully ran her own business operation in the wine industry taking the product from dirt to bottle, selling her product to a variety of local retailers, including Costco. Kathy is an administrative faculty member at the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno where she has managed both the Career Services Division for the College and the Small Business Innovative Research Program (SBIR) under the Nevada Small Business Development Center. Kathy also ran the Technical and Marketing Division for Cubix Corporation as well as a Project Leader for Century 21 Mortgage Corporation heading up a nationwide software development team and the Lending and Operations Officer for Security Pacific National Bank in Los Angeles, CA. Kathy holds a BS in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Luncheon Details: Please note; The Cameron Park Country Club has notified us of a price increase effective August 1st. The luncheon will now be $30.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members. We will be exploring other alternatives and asking for your input.
Please join us for our monthly business luncheon. Hosted at Cameron Park Country Club on the Third Wednesday of the month. Typically, our member attendance is 60-80. We gather starting at 11:30 am for networking and the meeting commences at noon. There is a new guest speaker each month. The chamber business luncheons are a great opportunity to network with other members of the business community and to share and exchange information. Take advantage of your chamber membership and make new connections.
